An update on us but mostly Clayton

We went to Montana last week and every relative’s house we went to had at least one cat and a dog. Clayton was having a hay day. He followed the animals around and wanted to pet them. Aunt Jill and Uncle Kelly have a black cat, which was so patient as Clayton would grab at him and lean against him. We got pictures of Clayton even trying to get under the chair that Damond, the cat, was trying to hide under. Clayton witnessed the birth of a lamb and got within 10 yards of a mountain goat. He was amazing in the car. His bad night time sleeping paid off in the car. He slept a lot but then Grandma Wilkey was great entertainment when he was awake.

He has all of a sudden turned into Mr. Man. He is so cute as he learns and copies things we do. Here is a list:
- He likes to sing his words: Mommmmm, and Hiii…hiiii…hiiii, and today doooog….dooog
- This last Sunday Clayton raised his arm after everyone did in sustainment of new callings. He kept his arm up with a huge grin and finally after I was amused and done laughing I had to put his arm back down.
- He is mommy’s little cleaner. He insists on carrying the broom around the house and will sweep or push sweep. He also got a rag while I was cleaning and started rubbing the walls and chairs. (Next time I’ll have to put some cleaner on it.)
- Devin was working on his bicycle with a tool and Clayton was admiring his work. He too grabbed a tool and gently banged on the bike. He is a little Devin.
- He loves to take off your sunglasses and put them on himself. He laughs when you have them on and when he is looking through them even though they are usually upside down.
- It is scary how much he knows. He was playing with Devin’s shoes and then later that day Devin put on one shoe and asked Clayton where the other one was. When Devin took him by the hand Clayton walked into the kitchen and walked right up to the other tennis shoe.
- He loves to throw balls. Right now it is a bullet to the ground throw but yet he is such a boy.
- Last night and today he folded his arms, or I should say wrists, all by himself as Devin and I had our arms folded and eyes closed in prayer. He knows he is so cute because we tell him all the time.

What a cute little man! Sounds like he is very full of personality and is learning things all the time. Wish we could see him again.
