Our silly boy! Turns two in March!
These were taken on different days. He loves goggles, hats, and sticks. He finds and puts them on all by himself (for the most part). The funniest, I would have to say, is when he puts on his goggles so the strap is over his eye lids and strains to open his eyes. It looks like it hurts and it does. After I laugh and show Devin I free Clayton of his pain. I am laughing more and more at Clayton's falls. I'm a bad mom. But it is really funny when he runs full speed and clips the corner of the wall and flops to the ground.

The beautiful Vancouver Island!
We hiked to Ripple Rock Point. It was a huge rock in the middle of a narrow passage that sunk ships and killed people in the 1800 and 1900's. Finally in the earlier 1900's they drilled holes into it and set dynamite to blast it. From the point you can see seals, sea lions, a ton of star fish, and bald eagles. Devin went back a week later to the tip of the point and got good pictures. (Sorry my pictures are out of order.)
There are little parks along the ocean that display wood carvings. The logs used are found drift logs found in the ocean or beached. There were many logging industries in the area who pulled logs by tug boat.
It is so pretty especially when the sun is out. We are having fun doing different things. Devin and I read more, do puzzles, exercise, go to play groups, eat dinner with friends, play indoor and outdoor games. I love our small ward of 50-60 people. I teach the sweetest 10 year girls. We are going to have a jewelry making/pizza party soon. I made 80 home ade cards this last week. Devin hikes a lot and is borrowing a mountain bike. We have trails up the street from us. He is enjoying his classes and was invited to a tourism conference and spoke with the Mayor quite a bit. People seem to like his outsider views on the tourism here in Campbell River. He will be working on a project for tourism as part of an internship.
