Disco Skating!

We went Disco Skating with Devin's work and Clayton loved to skate. He really tried to skate and when I took them off he laid back done with legs in the air to get them back on.

Camera Happy! Bare with all the following pictures. August was a busy month. Clayton hasn't taken a pacifier since he was 9 months so it is funny to find him with them again. He is our chocolate lover even if it means licking to death. He is in the dress up stage. He loves to wear things like shoes, bracelets, make up (when he gets into it). He is still our little boy who now at 18 months weights 21 lbs...skinny...32 inches long...50%. Doc says he is growing fine and is iron levels are back to normal.

Today Clayton was fussing to have his shoes taken off. I thought that maybe his feet were hot or too snug. Neither, as I took off one shoes he reached for my dress shoe and grinned. Sure enough he put them on and walked around. Oh boy, I hope he stays a boy! Ha!

We had fun at cousin Derek's 7th Birthday party. It was an Army Party...if you can't tell by the helmets and creative cake made by Natalie. You're amazing!

4th of July!

Clayton's eyes are hilarious. Wide and froze of tiredness and bright lights.

Where did Clayton go? Oh, there he is listening to the radio in his mustang!

We started the day with the parade (no pictures), Seven Peaks with Ana and Steph's family, barbeque and water at Blain and Heidi's, yummy dinner and swim at Janae's, and our own wild fire pops and sparklers. We had so much fun!!! So fun to be with Alexandra and Esben from Norway. You had to have seen the "sly" water fall from Grandpa W.'s cup down Heidi's back. Devin of course always knows how to pose for funny bloopers. Wow I have a buff husband!

Trying new things

Yupp so the petroleum jelly was a very slimmy experience...Clayton didn't seem to mind. But of course the excitement of riding on his first "roller coaster" was definently more of a thrill for the watching parents. I tried to get in with him thinking he would need some support. But after 5 seconds of my knees up to my chin, I decided I would have to let Clay be the big boy. Of course he didn't miss me during the ride. I looked like a fool for nothing:)

Who are his parents?

I love this picture. If you look close he has a runny nose from a cold, wearing the top of his church outfit, swimsuit bottoms, and a crooked bib.

The kitty we couldn't keep

We found this cat under the hood of our car after driving for 25 minutes. Can you believe it was still alive? She was a cuttie but not a keeper.
